Partnerships & Affiliations

Part of the key strategy of any environmental organisation is the understanding that the climate crisis will never be solved by any one organisation. Collaboration, teamwork, and partnerships are all necessary to forge an alliance.

As is held in our name, the EAP honours that understanding. Below are some of the great organisations and groups we are proud to be a part of in the effort to tackle climate change.

The EAP are proud to be a member of the Social Enterprise community. To be apart of their membership is to hold the values of a business that operates in a ‘for good’ capacity, demonstrating a commitment to making the world a better place through either environmental or social justice commitments.

We have been a member since 2022, and we will continue to hold ourselves accountable to the high standards expected by their values.

We are in a climate, ocean, biodiversity and animal crisis, but the solutions are right before our eyes. We need to phase out fossil fuels and transition to a plant-based diet. Action is required at all levels, from individuals, to business, and government.

By endorsing the Plant-Based Treaty, we are joining thousands of other likeminded businesses, organisations, charities and individuals that are making the world a greener place.

A founding member of this coalition, Stuart was proud to have co-convened one of the original events with this group of climate-positive organisations in Winchester’s first Youth-Led Climate Assembly and more recently, the Winchester District Citizens’ Climate Assembly.

Held under the umbrella of the Winchester Action on the Climate Crisis (WinACC) charity, it holds regular tactical meetings and helps get Winchester and the surrounding parish councils on track to meet the climate targets desperately needed for tackling climate change.

Convened by Dr Simon Boxley at the University of Winchester, we are pleased to be a Collaborative member of the centre, working closely with the extended affiliate staff members to help create transformational, sustainable communities in Winchester.

“The Centre for Climate Change Action & Education is an interdisciplinary research and knowledge exchange centre, aiming to be a catalyst for action to defend, conserve and heal Earth systems.”
